MASSMAN
Case Erector - Taper & Collar
Overview
In this machine Massman Automation Designs has combined some of the unique features of our Case Packers and Case Erectors. The resulting design is a machine that erects a knockdown case, inserts a corrugated collar to line the inside dimension of the case, and seals the case with adhesive tape (glue sealing is optional).
Used widely in the nut and fruit industry, the lined case provides outstanding stacking strength. Inserting the collar reliably had been a major difficulty in the past. The Massman approach was to build the collar inserter into the case erector and uniquely insert the collar before the case is sealed.
This machine is the solution to the problem, providing smooth, fast, dependable output with minimal maintenance required.
