MASSMAN
Automatic Wrap Around Case Packer
Overview
This Massman Case Packer contains the latest proven technology. Standard on this machine are servo-motor driven mechanisms at the case-processing level. Careful attention to quality drives and servo motors as well as commonsense motion application and component design yield the same rugged Massman dependability as the traditional
cam-driven Massman Case Packers. (Cam-driven mechanisms remain a customer’s-choice option.)
Servo drives lend themselves to faster operating speeds with the added advantage of operational precision. Simplicity of mechanical operation, multiple pack patterns and multiple product diameters and heights provide versatility to fill your end-of-line packaging needs. Simple, efficient size adjustments minimize changeover downtime.
Ease of maintenance -a top Massman design priority is achieved through accessible placement of serviceable components and simplicity of design. Durability -also a top priority- results from shrewd selection of electromechanical components and no compromise high-longevity design standards.
Features
• Heavy 3" x 3" tubular steel frame.
• Mostly servo-controlled motions.
• QPQ heat-treated wear parts for corrosion resistance, lubricity and hardness.
• PLC control; PLS for glue pattern.
• Programmable HMI provides operational and diagnostic information.
• Variable Frequency drives with adjustable automatic overload sensing.
• Full perimeter hinged guard door system, electrically interlocked.
• Case Blank Magazine: Two advance chains, separately controlled, gearmotor driven.
• Size Adjustments: Handwheels with digital indicators where applicable.
